All Saints’ Church in Princeton selects new interim rector

The Rev. Jane Milliken Hague has been appointed to serve as the interim rector at All Saints’ Church in Princeton. She will begin working at the Episcopal parish, located on All Saints Road just north of the Princeton Shopping Center, on Sept. 26.

In addition to officiating at services and managing church affairs, Hague will help the church navigate the transition as it seeks a new leader. Interim rectors in the Episcopal Church traditionally serve for a transitional period of a year as congregations search for new permanent rectors.

The Rev. Hugh Brown retired as rector of All Saints’ in June after 15 years of service.

Hague, a native of Washington, D.C., is a graduate of Georgetown University and Virginia Theological Seminary. She also holds certificates in interim ministry and nonprofit executive leadership. She is a sought-after spiritual retreat leader and teacher of contemplative prayer. She has served parishes in Annapolis, Maryland, Hanover, New Hampshire, Washington, D.C., and most recently Falmouth, Maine. Prior to her ordination, Hague worked as a professional gardener and founded Garden Grooming, a company that maintained private and civic gardens in the Washington, D.C. area.
