Arm In Arm seeks volunteers to serve local food-insecure residents at pantries, distribution center, mobile pantry

Arm In Arm, a nonprofit organization founded in 1980 by leaders of Nassau Presbyterian Church and Trinity Church in Princeton to help community members struggling financially, is seeking volunteers to deliver food and work at the group’s area food pantries and distribution center.

The organization’s mobile food pantry hosts events three to four times a week, serving 100 or more families at each event. Arm In Arm also drops off groceries at several local schools and housing complexes.

It takes more than 65 volunteers per week to manage the pantry services and make deliveries. You can sign up to volunteer online. Volunteers are needed Mondays through Thursdays at mobile pantries, the Hudson Pantry in Trenton, the Princeton Pantry, and the Mill One Distribution Center in Hamilton.

Teen and young adult groups are welcome to volunteer and can earn community service hours for their efforts. If you would like more information or have a group that you’d like to bring, reach out to Shariq Marshall at shariqm@arminarm.org
