David Harley Thorne Sr. of Lawrenceville died on June 26 at home. He was 66.

He was born in New Brunswick. David was a simple man. He had a passion for all things music. He loved motorcycles and being out on the open road. Driving trucks was his life. Even in his darkest times, he kept his good sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all.

David is predeceased by his son David Thorne Jr. and father Floyd Austin Thorne.

He is survived by his wife Mary P. Hegarty, two daughters and a son Breanna Hegarty-Thorne, Melissa Thorne-Simpson, Daniel Thorne, six grandchildren, his mother Jessie Farr, a brother Kenny Thorne, and two sisters Judy Thorne and Linda Thorne-Collura.
