Thursday, June 29

Montgomery – Fireworks on the front lawn of Montgomery High School. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with vendors, music, and games for children. Bring a tarp. The ground is still wet from several days of rain. 1016 Route 601, Montgomery, NJ 08558.

Friday, June 30

Lawrence – The annual Independence Day Fireworks will be held at Rider University on Friday, June 30th. Food trucks, a live band, and children’s entertainment will begin around 6 p.m. Fireworks will start around 9:30 p.m. 2083 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrence NJ 08648.

West Windsor – The L..E.A.D. Fest State Fair at Mercer County Park will feature food, entertainment, and fireworks at dusk. Tickets are $5 on weekdays. 1638 Old Trenton Rd. West Windsor, NJ 08550.


Hamilton – Gather in Veteran’s Park at 6 p.m. for a giant fireworks display, and don’t miss the live music before the show. The rain date is July 1. Free. 2206 Kuser Road, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690.

Ewing – Fireworks at the Green Lane soccer fields at The College of New Jersey. Fireworks at dusk, venue opens for parking and picnics at 6 p.m. 262 Green Lane, Ewing, NJ 08628.

Belmar – Come to Belmar for a free concert, a computerized light show, and fireworks to finish off the night. The best viewing position is Silver Lake Park on the grass in front of Taylor Pavilion. Free, with donations accepted. Silver Lake Park, 410 7th Ave., Belmar, NJ 07719.

Saturday, July 1

North Brunswick – The North Brunswick Youth Sports Festival features lots of entertainment including Rosaire’s Royal Pigs Racers, High Flying Pages Thrill Show, Motorcycle Stunt Show, Gossamer Magic Show, fireworks, and more. All proceeds go directly towards the youth sports groups in North Brunswick. Route 1 North, next to DeVry University. Tickets are $8.

Bordentown – Fireworks at Joseph Lawrence Park at dusk. Kids games and food trucks starting at 4 p.m. Rian date Sept. 2. 317 Ward Avenue, Bordentown Township.

East Windsor – Fireworks at dusk at Etra Lake Park. Music begins at 6 p.m. Rain date July 3. 9 Disbrow Hill Rd, East Windsor, NJ 08520

Sunday, July 2

Jackson – The 4th of July Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure Amusement Park features rides, music, and discounted tickets, capped off by a nightly fireworks display. Cost is the Price of admission ticket. 1 Six Flags Blvd., Jackson, NJ 08527

Monday, July 3

West Windsor – The L..E.A.D. Fest State Fair at Mercer County Park will feature food, entertainment, and fireworks at dusk. Tickets are $5 on weekdays.

Franklin Township – Fireworks at dusk at the Franklin Township Municipal Building. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and include food trucks, exhibits, activities for kids, and music. Rain date is July 7. 475 DeMott Lane, Franklin, NJ 08873.
