The 12th annual Sourland Spectacular cycling event will start and end at the Watershed Institute on Sept. 9.

Proceeds from the event will support Sourland Conservancy’s forest restoration effort, now underway. Over the last three years, the Sourland Conservancy has planted over 29,000 trees and shrubs and hopes to plant 12,000 trees and shrubs this year!

The event will offer a choice of three routes. All routes include climbing, as the Sourland Mountain is beautiful, but not flat. Riders can begin when they would like between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. in order to complete their route in time for lunch. Pre-event coffee and breakfast will be followed by lunches served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The lunch be capped by their famous ice cream sundaes.

Registration fees cover snacks at rest stops, two meals, a gourmet ice cream sundae, SAG support, and swag.

The early bird registration fee of $50 ends on Thursday, August 17th. The regular adult registration is $65. Register online at sourlandspectacular.com.
